Caravans in the Sun is pleased to announce our new five star luxury Residential mobile home park, just 25 minutes’ drive from Alicante airport, 35 minutes’ drive from Murcia airport and 40 kms from the coastal towns and beaches of Guardamar and Santa Pola. Surrounded by palm trees and with fruit trees on all plots – this exclusive private park with electronic security gates has direct access from the motorway and is within walking distance of the nearest village – perfect for retirement.
The park is open all year and has the added advantages of a clubhouse with billiards, darts and regular game nights. There is a small swimming pool open from June to October and a petanque and children’s play area, friends and family are welcome to come and visit and up to 3 pets per plot are allowed. The nearby village of Albatera with its white houses and wide streets lined with palm trees is within walking distance of the park and has banks, bars, restaurants, butchers, bakers, greengrocers, supermarkets, health centre, pharmacy and a weekly street market. The church located in the main square has a beautiful Baroque door and nearby there is a lovely large natural park surrounded by hundreds of palm trees. The average temperature in Albatera is 18.2 °C and the annual rainfall here averages 293 mm. (the lowest in Spain). The Sierra de Crevillente provides a stunning scenic backdrop for the village and excellent walking trails
The towns of Murcia and Elche are each within a 30 minute drive – as is the coastal resort of Guardamar with some of the best beaches in Spain, shops, restaurants and an excellent weekly market every Wednesday morning. Elche – with its shoreline of 9km 0f white sandy beaches is also known as the “City of Palms” and located within the largest palm forest in Europe – some 200,000 protected palm trees grow in the streets and parks of the city. The city has two UNESCO awards – one for its palms and one for its religious play. Elche is also a must for shoe lovers and a visit to the Salvador Artesano shoe outlet – where there are hundreds of shoes at discounted prices in the largest shoe factory in Europe. The city of Murcia was founded by the Arabs during the 1st century, since then it has been a crossroads for different cultures. The Cathedral makes a great starting point right in the heart of the city – from here you can explore the colourful, lively, little plazas that nestle in between the narrow streets. Murcia has an overwhelming array of museums, art galleries and centres and beautiful historic buildings, so if it is culture that you crave you will certainly enjoy your time here.

Your deposit will be refunded in full once we have re-sold your reserved mobile home and/or plot, less any expenses that may be incurred by ourselves.
5) What is included in the price?
Furnished mobile home sited and connected on to your own plot.

Plot fees = 270€ – 486€ per month plus 10% VAT (payable half yearly).

As long as you wish – the condition of mobile home and plot must be well maintained.
9) Can I sell or rent my mobile home if required?
Yes, we can advertise your mobile home for sale on our website, please click here to view our mobile home resale service. Mobile homes cannot be rented as this is a residential park but friends and family can join you to stay.
10) What facilities are available on site?

A car would be recommended, there is also a bus stop near the park and the nearest railway station is at San Isidro – trains run to Alicante or Murcia.
13) How far are the nearest golf courses and beaches situated?
The nearest golf course is a 30 minute drive and the nearest beach is a 25 minute drive.
14) How far is the site from the nearest airport?
The park is 25 minutes’ drive from Alicante Airport and 35 minutes’ drive from Murcia Airport.
15) What is the weather like?
The Costa Blanca is extremely mild, with average daily temperature of 19.3°C throughout the year. The area enjoys more than 2,800 hours of sunshine annually and July and August are the hottest months of the year
16) Are pets allowed on site?
Yes pets (maximum 3) are allowed as long as kept on a lead.
17) How long is the site open for and how long can I stay here for?
The park is a residential park and open 12 months of the year.
18) Does all work on plots have to be done by site owners?
Mobile home owners can work on their own plot but need to forward a plan to the site owner first. A shed can be installed by the site
Viewing trips to Spain, Costa Blanca, Alicante
We have 2 options available on this mobile home park. Option 1 – 2 nights accommodation in a hotel with a tour of the park, the viewing of mobile homes, tour of local area and possible collection from airport. Alternatively, option 2 – you can make an appointment to be shown around the park and the homes available during a day visit.
Option 1 – Your viewing trip starts when you meet up with our customer service team either at Alicante airport or at your hotel in Alicante where you can check-in and make the arrangements to view the park and the local area the following day. You will now be able to relax for the rest of the day/evening. If required our team can inform you of the local area, the location of amenities, the way to the sea front, harbour, restaurants and answer any initial questions you may have.
The next day they will show you around the site and answer any further questions you may have. You may then want to take a walk along the beach, explore surrounding towns and villages, take a drive around the local area or visit some of the local attractions in Alicante. If you would like to take a drive and explore yourself then our team will always be on hand for advice, directions and any other information you may require.
That night you get to relax in your hotel again before heading back to the airport for your return flight home. You may wish to return to the park the following day for a final look before flying back, this is fine and our team will be available to take you back for a second look.
At no time during the visit will you be under any pressure or obligation to purchase. We believe that the product, once seen sells itself and if you are interested, then you will contact us to complete the purchase. We will then ensure that you are given our full assistance and guide you through your purchase.
Option 2 – You contact our office with your planned travel arrangements and day of arrival with an approximate time for when you would like to view the park. We then make the arrangement for you to come and view the park and homes. Unfortunately an appointment is necessary to view the park as this is a residential style community and we like to keep disruption to home owners to a minimum. We do not employ high pressure sales teams and at no time during the visit will you be under any pressure or obligation to purchase. We believe that the product, once seen sells itself and if you are interested, you will contact us to complete the purchase. We will then ensure that you are given our full assistance and guide you through your purchase if required.
Your travel arrangements are booked in conjunction with our UK office subject to availability. This will be coordinated with our customer service team in Spain. We can give friendly advice and help about where and how to book your flights and car hire if required; we will arrange and reserve your accommodation (Usually payable locally on arrival at the hotel). It may be possible for us to collect and return you to Alicante airport.
