We are very happy to announce our latest park beautifully located in the Pyrénées-Orientales area of the Languedoc-Roussillon region of Southern France. This peaceful and well maintained park is set in the borders of Catalan country, close to the Spanish border and just 25 km from the nearest airport. The park is at the foot of the eastern end of the Pyrennes and the Alberes Mountains with the summit of the highest mountain in the area forming the backdrop, on nearby slopes there are vineyards – yet the park is just a 20-minute drive from the popular seaside resort of Argelès-sur-Mer with its pine forests and vast stretches of Blue Flag Award sandy beaches by the warm, blue Mediterranean Sea.
The park has a seasonal swimming pool, bar, laundrette and the mini market with daily fresh bread is open during July and August. There is a children’s play area and available sports include volleyball, billiards and ping-pong, bicycle hire is available and there are horse riding stables and river and lake fishing nearby. Pets are welcome to stop at the park and subletting is permitted. There is a supermarket within walking distance and the local town is just 2km from the park. The town has all the advantages of banks, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, bakers, butchers etc – and a weekly market on Thursdays.
Argelès-sur-Mer is on the only east facing coastline in France – resulting in wide sun drenched sandy beaches perfectly framed by the backdrop of the Pyrenees. The town not only has an interesting harbour, good shops and an excellent selection of restaurants but it also has a good choice of activities for all the family including water sports with wind surfing and scuba diving, Luna Park with rides for the children, Canyoning Park for lovers of zip wire and wake boarding and a nearby nature reserve.
Just a few miles from Argelès-sur-Mer is the town of Port-Vendres – a typical Mediterranean fishing port near the Spanish border renowned for its numerous fish and sea food restaurants. The Scottish art nouveau architect, interior designer, textile designer and water colourist Charles Rennie Mackintosh lived and painted in Port-Vendres from 1923-27 and he painted many water colours of the town and surrounding area. He is said to have spent the happiest years of his life here and his last wish was to have his ashes scattered in the bay of Port-Vendres – a path that goes around the port shows reproductions of his watercolours exactly where he painted them. A few minutes further south is the coastal town of Banyuls-sur- Mer where for two centuries the major activity was smuggling of goods to and from Spain! Nowadays tourism stemming from the wine industry plays a significant economic role in the town – notably for delicious and rare red dessert wines. The town is also a centre of quality dry red, rosés and whites and there are several caves where you can enjoy wine tasting – the most popular are La Grande Cave and La Cave du Mas Reig.
The park is within an area favoured by those who enjoy the outdoors – with cycling and hiking trails, fishing spots and plenty of space for horse riding – yet a drive of less than half an hour will take you to the nearest Spanish border town for some cross border shopping, a drive of one hour will take you to the northern Costa Brava and within 3 hours you can be in the pretty tax haven of Andorra.

There is no age restriction to mobile homes – you may keep your mobile home on the park for as long as you require – the condition of mobile home and plot must be well maintained.

Yes, we can advertise your mobile home for sale on our website, please click here to view our mobile home resale service. Subletting is permitted through the park’s rental service for which there is a commission charge of 35%.
10) What facilities are available on site?
The park has a swimming pool (seasonal), bar, sun terrace, mini market with fresh bread daily (July and August), laundrette, children’s playground, table tennis, billiards, darts, volleyball and bicycle hire.
11) What facilities are nearby?
The nearby town has banks, butchers, bakers, restaurants, bars and supermarkets – the local weekly market is held on Thursdays. There are opportunities for hiking, cycling, horse riding and fishing nearby.
12) Would I need to hire a car whilst over there?
Yes – a car would be advisable.
13) How far are the nearest golf courses and beaches situated?
The park is 15km from the nearest beach and the nearest golf course is just 16km away.
14) How far is the site from the nearest airport?
The park is 25km from Perpignan airport
15) What is the weather like?
The climate is mild and sunny – the warmest month of the year is July when average highs reach 23.4ºC – summer is also the driest time of the year when only a handful of days see some rain. January is the coldest month of the year – with temperatures averaging 7.6ºC.
16) Are pets allowed on site?
Pets are welcome (must have up to date vaccinations and be micro chipped).
17) How long is the site open for and how long can I stay here for?
The park facilities are open from March – December each year but owners have access all year and you can visit as frequently as you wish.
18) Does all work on plots have to be done by site owners?
Yes, to keep within the look of the park and to be able to have your high viewing sun terrace this work needs to be carried out by the site owner. A shed or storage area can also be installed by the park owners.

We have 2 options available on this mobile home park. Option 1 – 2 nights accommodation in a local hotel (Or mobile home on site where available) with a tour of the park, the viewing of mobile homes, tour of local area and possible collection from airport. Alternatively, option 2 – you can make an appointment to be shown around the park and the homes available during a day visit.
Option 1 – Your viewing trip starts when you meet up with our customer service team at Perpignan airport or at your hotel in Perpignan where you can check-in and make the arrangements to view the park and the local area the following day. You will now be able to relax for the rest of the day/evening. If required our team can inform you of the local area, the location of amenities, the way to the sea front, harbour, restaurants and answer any initial questions you may have.
The next day they will show you around the site and answer any further questions you may have. You may then want to take a walk along the beach, explore surrounding towns and villages, take a drive around the local area or visit some of the local attractions. If you would like to take a drive and explore yourself then our team will always be on hand for advice, directions and any other information you may require.
That night you get to relax in your hotel again before heading back to the airport for your return flight home. You may wish to return to the park the following day for a final look before flying back, this is fine and our team will be available to take you back for a second look.
Option 2 – You contact our office with your planned travel arrangements and day of arrival with an approximate time for when you would like to view the park. We then make the arrangement for you to come and view the park and homes (where applicable). Unfortunately an appointment is necessary to view the park as we like to keep disruption to home owners to a minimum and entrance to the park is via a security barrier.
We do not employ high pressure sales teams and at no time during the visit will you be under any pressure or obligation to purchase. We believe that the product, once seen sells itself and if you are interested, you will contact us to complete the purchase. We will then ensure that you are given our full assistance and guide you through your purchase if required.
Your travel arrangements are booked in conjunction with our UK office subject to availability. This will be coordinated with our customer service team in France. We can give friendly advice and help about where and how to book your flights and car hire if required; we can arrange and reserve your accommodation (Usually payable locally on arrival at the hotel). It may be possible for us to collect and return you to Perpignan airport. Please note: Resale mobile homes we may have listed on the website are situated on the park and will be available to view with your appointment. Brand new mobile homes are not situated on the park as they are newly built in the UK prior to transportation and installation.
Viewing trip costs will be refunded up to a maximum of £150 if you proceed to purchase. Your accommodation invoice or flight receipt will be required for the credit adjustment and will be shown as a credit on your final invoice.
