France - Southern Vendee

The quiet setting for this quality mobile home park within 50 hectare grounds with 3 fishing lakes offers you peace and tranquility. The park is located in the southern Vendee area in France and is easily reached from Nantes airport in the north and La Rochelle airport which is south of the park. The “mini climate” of the Vendee enjoys 2600 hours of sunshine a year.  

The park is located a mere 12km from the beach at Brétignolles-sur-Mer. Other nearby towns include Les Sables d’Olonne - a lively resort - popular for its rich maritime heritage and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie which can be found on the west coast with its excellent Grand Plage, fishing harbour, marina and market. Saint-Jean-de-Monts is a little further away, approximately 40 minutes drive but could be well worth it for its well renowned sandy beach, more than eight kilometres long.

Within short proximity you will find 3 international golf courses, a big lake, quad biking, go-karting and a museum. This aswell as the excellent onsite facilities of: horse riding, swimming pools, crazy golf, bowls, tennis, table tennis, a games room, bouncy castle and kids club provides a great amount of entertainment and things to do and see. You will also find a restaurant, bar, takeaway and grocery store on the leisure park.

The park is currently only open from April - October but from 2011 part of the park will be open for 12 months a year and the excellent facilities and pleasant climate provide the perfect combination for park living or year round short or long holidays. Caravans in the Sun have a full range of mobile homes available which are suitable for this park.
