The local French village is just a 20 minute walk away and amenities there include a pharmacy, convenience store, bakers, restaurants and bars. A huge freshwater lake provides not only the opportunity for fishing but also for lots of fun with and various types of boats for hire. A tour round the ancient chateau is a must.

St Gilles Croix de Vie on the coast has a harbour, wonderful beaches, fresh produce markets, shops, supermarkets and many bars and restaurants with the chance to try the local sea food dishes.

The park has an excellent community spirit and excellent facilities and is open for 12 months a year – ideal for long/short all year round holidays.
