Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Mobile Homes Abroad newsletter. Spring upon all of us in Europe (except the Highlands in Scotland and the “freak” snow storm in Barcelona), we are now getting towards the time where we all start to drift off and look forward to the summer holiday and spending our time away in the sun. Whilst the holiday market is still suffering, property purchases in Europe are starting to increase and interest across Europe in overseas property is on the up once again. Revival in UK Property Market

The beginning of the year has seen more positive news than that of the previous 2 years in the UK housing market. Tickets are up 12% for “A Place in the Sun Live” tickets from that of the previous year and enquiries for UK and overseas properties are already on the up from 2009 according to major property agents in the UK. Whilst 2009 was arguably the worst on record in the industry, it can only be seen as a positive sign that enquiries are on the up and those of you with houses for sale may well be able to regenerate interest in your home.

It is still early days for the property market revival and many of us may still be way off selling our house and moving to our dream home in the sun although this news must be seen as positive news for everyone who is selling their home. With such positive news regarding the enquiry levels of homes in the UK, maybe it is time to re-start the search for a home overseas whilst preparing for your house sale with that lick of paint and re-contacting of the estate agents whilst exploring the overseas on option at the moment.
