We are situated on the Setubal peninsula halfway between Lisbon and Setubal, and new civic planning does not permit large buildings to be erected anywhere near the park. The local town has a full range of shops and amenities. The port of Setubal has grown from being a fishing village to a town with numerous restaurants and shops, yet retains its original charm with the castle overlooking the old fishing village and small shops. The beaches along this coast are glorious.

There are numerous places to shop within a 15-minute drive of the park, including the Freeport designer outlet centre at Alcochete, and the clothes shops, food hall and supermarket at Montigo. A giant Sunday market is held on the second Sunday of each month within a short walk of the park. The mobile home park has 24-hour security and is open 12 months of the year.
