This is one of our most impressive mobile home parks, a fantastic relaxing and beautiful park located in the Eastern Algarve, just 45 minutes from Faro airport and 1 hour from the Spanish city of Seville. Privately owned and set in 9 hectares of rolling countryside and still only 10 minutes from some of the best beaches in Portugal and is a must-see for all those who love peace and tranquillity. With beautiful panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, 5 golf courses nearby, a large swimming pool, recently refurbished bar and restaurant.
Our park is open all year round and has excellent facilities including a large swimming pool with lounging areas, an internet café, public telephone, mini-market, laundrette and a lovely selection of British and Portuguese food in the bar/restaurant. With a choice of mobile homes, park homes and timber lodges designed sympathetically to retain the natural charm and beauty of the area, each home can enjoy a large plot with lovely views, within the secure, gated community.
The area is often referred to as the “California of Europe” due to the unspoilt coastlines with traditional villages and famous sandy beaches. The laid-back lifestyle, clear blue skies, taking a dip in the pool and relaxing on your deck are the reasons many people enjoy the south of Portugal, the natural beauty of the area must not be underestimated. With the charming villages of Tavira and Cabanas just a short drive away, excellent road connections into Andalucia in Spain and being on the fringes of the Ria Formosa nature reserve, there are plenty of beautiful, charming and historical landmarks to visit nearby.
The reception is open 7 days a week with multi-lingual staff providing security and peace of mind to residents in addition to the secure entry system. All on-site staff are friendly and local to the area, they can provide you with all the help you need to move and get settled in the area. As the Algarve Park is open all year round, the potential of sub-letting your home is fantastic with many owners taking advantage of rental opportunities whilst they are working, holidaying or living elsewhere during the year. 2) What does a viewing trip include?
Viewing of development at your leisure, we have a guest house which can be used in Cabanas (Costs apply – £49 per night for 2 people). Viewing trip costs will be refunded up to a maximum of £150 if you proceed to purchase. Your hotel / accommodation invoice or flight receipt will be required for the credit adjustment and will be shown as a credit on your final invoice. The cost is not redeemable in conjunction with any other special offer, price reduction, discounts or promotions. We do not employ high pressure sales teams and at no time during the visit will you be under any pressure or obligation to purchase.
3) How much deposit is required?
10% deposit secures your mobile home. For special offers the remaining balance is due 28 days from invoice date.

4) Do I lose my deposit?
Your deposit will be refunded in full once we have re-sold your reserved mobile home and/or plot, less any expenses that may be incurred by ourselves.
5) What is included in the price?
Furnished mobile home sited, connected and ready to use on your own plot.
5a) Are there any additional fees to pay
Annual plot fee which is currently from 4,121.28€ including IVA. Electricity and water is billed on consumption and gas is bottled.
6) What are the running costs (At time of writing)?
Selection of small plots available for smaller mobile homes – Annual plot fee from 4,121.28€ including IVA. Ground rent is calculated at €1.80 per m² per month (excluding 6% IVA). It must be paid annually in advance. Electricity (Current rate = 0.22€ kw) and water (Current rate = 3.52€ m3) are both on a meter and paid monthly. Gas = Bottled. Wi-Fi is available free of charge.
7) What are the plot sizes?
Plots are sized between 100m² – 200m². Plots include a gravel car parking space (Larger plots incur an additional surcharge)
8) How long can I keep my mobile home on site for?
As long as required, condition of mobile home and plot must be well maintained.
9) Can I sell or rent my mobile home if required?
Yes, we can advertise your mobile home for sale on our website, please click here to view our mobile home resale service. Subletting is permitted by informing the site reception who will then take care of the reservation, check in and check out etc. They charge 20% of the rental fee to carry these duties out, the further 80% is deducted from your annual plot rent.
10) What facilities are available on site?
Swimming pool, bar, restaurant, launderette, children’s play area, petanque, post service, reception and 24 hours security. In the reception any resident has free access to internet and computer service.
11) What facilities are nearby?
Tavira is the closest large town, Tavira is a beautiful elegant historic fishing town where you will also find the grand-plaza shopping centre, supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, market hall, a fabulous island beach and some of the finest churches in the Algarve. You can find several smaller shops for grocery items etc within a 20 minute walk of the park.
12) Would I need to hire a car whilst over there?
A car is highly recommended as this park is semi rural, the site is within walking distance to the local town but the roads may not have footpaths, the site is not on a bus route and to get to the coast or to Tavira, a car would be highly advised.
13) How far are the nearest golf courses and beaches situated?
The 18 hole course in Tavira is approximately a 10 minute drive away, you can enjoy some of the best mountain and sea views the Algarve has to offer at the Benamor golf course. The site is approximately a 10 minute drive to the beach in Manta Rota.
14) How far is the site from the nearest airport?
Faro airport is approximately 45 minutes’ drive away, 50km.
15) What is the weather like?
The Algarve is home to many of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations due to its year round sun and warmth. The Eastern Algarve enjoys a Mediterranean climate of long hot summers and mild winters; we are based on the less commercial East coast of South Portugal. Spring is very warm and enjoyable with average highs of 20°C in April, Summer is hot and dry with average highs of 29°C, Autumn remains very pleasant with average highs of 23°C in October and Winter is very mild averaging highs of 16°C in December / January.
16) Are pets allowed on site?
Yes, pets are allowed but must be kept on a lead. Click here for more information on taking pets abroad.
17) How long is the site open for and how long can I stay here for?
The park is open for 12 months of the year so you may visit and stay here for as long as you wish.
18) Does all work on plots have to be done by site owners?
In special circumstances mobile home owners can work on their own plot with prior approval from the park but the site employ staff who do this kind of work. A mobile home comes sited on a plot with a gravel car parking space as standard and terraces can be added at an extra cost.
Viewing trips to the Algarve, Portugal – Mobile homes for sale
We have 2 options available on this mobile home park. Option 1 – We can offer local accommodation for 2 nights at a guest house in Cabanas de Tavira. Alternatively, option 2 – You can make an appointment to be shown around the park and the homes available during a day visit.
Option 1 – Your viewing trip starts when we meet you at Faro airport, your trip will be 2 nights and 3 days stay in local accommodation within walking distance to local amenities and the beach etc. We all know that travelling can be tiring so on your arrival day you will be able to relax for the rest of the day/evening after being collected from the airport. If required our team can inform you of the local area, the location of amenities, the way to the sea front, restaurants and answer any initial questions you may have. The next day they will show you around the site and answer any further questions you may have. You may then want to take a walk along the beach, explore surrounding towns and villages, take a drive around the local area or visit some of the local attractions. If you would like to take a drive and explore yourself then our team will always be on hand for advice, directions and any other information you may require. That night you get to relax in your accommodation again before heading back to the airport for your return flight home. You may wish to return to the park the following day for a final look before flying back, this is fine and our team will be available to take you back for a second look.
Option 2 – You contact our office with your planned travel arrangements and day of arrival with an approximate time for when you would like to view the park. We then make the arrangement for you to come and view the park and homes (where applicable). Unfortunately an appointment is necessary to view the park as this is a residential style community and we like to keep disruption to home owners to a minimum. We do not employ high pressure sales teams and at no time during the visit will you be under any pressure or obligation to purchase. We believe that the product, once seen sells itself and if you are interested, you will contact us to complete the purchase. We will then ensure that you are given our full assistance and guide you through your purchase if required.
Your travel arrangements are booked in conjunction with our UK office subject to availability. This will be coordinated with our customer service team in Portugal. We can give friendly advice and help about where and how to book your flights and car hire if required; we will arrange and reserve your accommodation (approximately £49 per night for 2 people). Please note: Brand new mobile homes are not already sited on the mobile home park, these models must be viewed in the UK either prior to, or after your park visit. Please call us if you are interested in viewing a new mobile home, we will locate your requested make/model of home on a showground in the UK, trying to provide a location as close to you as we possibly can. Any resale mobile homes we may have listed on the website are situated on the park and will be available to view with your appointment.
