Mobile Homes for sale in Spain, Andalucia, Granada - Sierra Nevada
We are delighted to introduce this lovely park over 1000m above sea level set in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada National Park mountain range in the province of Granada, Andalucia – the location is amazing as the countryside views of surroundings rivers, reservoir and mountains are spectacular. The park is within walking distance of the nearest village, just a few km from Granada with its famous Alhambra Palace and fortress, 30 km from the nearest ski resort and within a 1 hour 30 minutes’ drive of Malaga airport.
This tranquil and friendly park is open for 12 months of the year as are the bar, restaurant (which also caters for special diets), shop, laundrette and sports and play areas, the swimming pool is open from April until October each year, pets (on a lead) are welcome, subletting is permitted and the ground rent includes the cost of water used. The starting point for the Vereda de la Estrella – one of the most famous hikes in the Sierra Nevada is easily reached and there are opportunities for fishing, horse riding, mountain biking and skiing in the area. The local village full of history and traditions is within walking distance and it has the advantage of banks, supermarkets, bakers, bars and restaurants. There is a bus stop at the entrance to the park and there is a regular bus service to Granada.
A trip to the fabulous city of Granada is a must – not only for the good shops and bars – but to visit the cathedral with the tomb of the catholic kings dating back to 1523 and to wander through the fascinating narrow streets and little squares of the Albaicin (marketplace) labyrinth – the Moorish old quarter preserved for over 1000 years and now a World Heritage Site (head downhill to find your way back to the city centre!). The Alhambra Palace and fortress (also a World Heritage Site) in Granada city is the second most visited place in Europe – a palace and city originating from a 9th century fortress which became a palace in the mid13th century – a blend of medieval Islamic, Renaissance Christian and modern architectural styles (book tickets well in advance).
Alpujarra (Trevélez) – just 80km from the park is the highest village in mainland Spain and located at the head of the steep sided and dramatic Trevélez river valley. Trevélez is well known for its mouth-watering cured ham jamón serrano as the clear mountain air is ideal for curing this sweet tasting ham. The town’s many bars have hams hanging from the ceiling and local specialities made with ham include habas con jamón (broad beans and ham) and fresh trout (trucha). The town is divided into three sections – low, medium and high – the lower section (Barrio Bajo) has the highest concentration of handicraft shops and bars. Ham Day is celebrated in the middle of August and visitors are welcome to join the town party!
Beach lovers will enjoy a trip to the Mediterranean seaside town of Motril on the Costa Tropical which is just over an hour’s drive from the park. Nestling at the foothills of the Sierra Lujar mountains halfway between Malaga and Almeria the town has shops, restaurants and bars – the coastal strip has two beaches Playa Granada and Playa Ponient and along the coastline there are many smaller sheltered coves and inlets. The pretty marina is where you will find water sports facilities and boat excursion – you can even take a trip to Morocco.

8) How long can I keep my mobile home on site for?
There is no age restriction to mobile homes – you may keep your mobile home on the park for as long as you require – the condition of mobile home and plot must be well maintained.
9) Can I sell or rent my mobile home if required?
Yes, we can advertise your mobile home for sale on our website, please click here to view our mobile home resale service. Subletting is permitted, the site offers a cleaning service and key handover for a charge, it may also be possible for the site to offer your home as a rental during the skiing season (For a commission).
10) What facilities are available on site?
The park has a swimming pool (open April – October) and all other facilities are open all year including the shop (with freshly baked bread and pastries), bar, restaurant (special diets catered for), takeaway, table tennis, mini golf, billiards and children’s play area. There is a children’s activity programme during the summer months.
11) What facilities are nearby?
The nearby village has banks, butchers, bakeries, boutiques, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. There are opportunities for hiking, cycling and horse riding in the area and the park is less than 30km from ski slopes.
12) Would I need to hire a car whilst over there?
A car would be advantageous to enjoy the beautiful countryside – however there is a regular bus service to Granada from the bus stop at the park entrance and the nearest train station is Granada – but most people prefer to take the bus from Malaga to Granada.
13) How far are the nearest golf courses and beaches situated?
The nearest golf course is 27km from the park and the nearest beaches are at Motril on the Costa Tropicana which is 70km from the park.
14) How far is the site from the nearest airport?
The park is is 155km from Malaga airport where most airlines fly direct to from the UK. The local airport (Granada) has direct flights from London (City) airport.
15) What is the weather like?
The climate here is mild, and generally warm and temperate. The winters are rainier than the summers and the average annual temperature is 12.7 °C. At an average temperature of 23.1 °C, July is the hottest month of the year. The lowest average temperatures in the year occur in January, when it is around 4.4 °C.
16) Are pets allowed on site?
Pets are permitted – on a lead and a maximum of 2 per home.
17) How long is the site open for and how long can I stay here for?
The park is open 12 months of the year and you may stay for as long and as often as you wish.
18) Does all work on plots have to be done by site owners?
Owners can maintain their own gardens / plots with terraces and a shed or storage area can be installed.
Viewing trips to Spain, Granada – Sierra Nevada
We have 2 options available on this mobile home park. Option 1 – 2 nights accommodation in a hotel with a tour of the park, the viewing of mobile homes (where available), tour of local area and possible collection from airport (Granada or possibly Malaga). Alternatively, option 2 – you can make an appointment to be shown around the park and the homes available during a day visit.
Option 1 – Your viewing trip starts when you meet up with our customer service team at Granada or Malaga airport or at your hotel in Granada where you can check-in and make the arrangements to view the park and the local area the following day. You will now be able to relax for the rest of the day/evening. If required our team can inform you of the local area, the location of amenities, restaurants and answer any initial questions you may have.
The next day they will show you around the site and answer any further questions you may have. You may then want to take a walk and explore the surrounding towns and villages, take a drive around the local area or visit some of the local attractions. If you would like to take a drive and explore yourself then our team will always be on hand for advice, directions and any other information you may require.
That night you get to relax in your hotel again before heading back to the airport for your return flight home. You may wish to return to the park the following day for a final look before flying back, this is fine and our team will be available to take you back for a second look.
Option 2 – You contact our office with your planned travel arrangements and day of arrival with an approximate time for when you would like to view the park. We then make the arrangement for you to come and view the park and homes (where applicable). Unfortunately an appointment is necessary to view the park as this is a residential style community and we like to keep disruption to home owners to a minimum.
We do not employ high pressure sales teams and at no time during the visit will you be under any pressure or obligation to purchase. We believe that the product, once seen sells itself and if you are interested, you will contact us to complete the purchase. We will then ensure that you are given our full assistance and guide you through your purchase if required.
Your travel arrangements are booked in conjunction with our UK office subject to availability. This will be coordinated with our customer service team in Spain. We can give friendly advice and help about where and how to book your flights and car hire if required; we will arrange and reserve your accommodation (if required) and this is usually payable locally on arrival at the hotel. It may be possible for us to collect and return you to Granada or Malaga airport. Please note: Brand new mobile homes are not already sited on the mobile home park, these models must be viewed in the UK either prior to, or after your park visit. Please call us if you are interested in viewing a new mobile home, we will locate your requested make/model of home on a showground in the UK, trying to provide a location as close to you as we possibly can. Any resale mobile homes we may have listed on the website are situated on the park and will be available to view with your appointment.
Viewing trip costs will be refunded up to a maximum of £150 if you proceed to purchase. Your accommodation invoice or flight receipt will be required for the credit adjustment and will be shown as a credit on your final invoice. The cost is not redeemable in conjunction with any other special offer, price reduction, discounts or promotions.
