Welcome to our new park in the heart of romantic Brittany – the park is set in peaceful natural wooded surroundings, adjacent to a lake and just 10 minutes’ walk to the centre of the nearest town with its multi-turreted 13th century Chateau, shops, bars and restaurants and train station. The Emerald Coast dotted with traditional family seaside resorts is just a half hour’s drive and the drive to St Malo Ferry Port is less than 50 minutes. Rennes Airport is just 45 minutes by road or less than 2 hours by train from the town.

This friendly park has facilities including a small shop (fresh bread and croissants in July and August), a launderette, petanque, games room and a large play park and the lake has good opportunities for fishing, pets are welcome (on a lead) and subletting is permitted – with a rental service if required. The nearest bar and restaurant is just 5 minutes’ walk from the park and there are many opportunities for hiking, 7 cycle trails and horse riding nearby. Combourg dates back to the Middle Ages and boasts a swimming pool and tennis courts and the nearest golf course is just 10 minutes’ walk from the park. There are shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and doctors and vets and a weekly market on Mondays selling clothes, plants, livestock and local food including cheeses, cured sausage and Brittany butter biscuits. The town has much history and beautiful buildings to explore and there is a large leisure and water park is just 10 minutes’ drive away.

The coastal town of Dinard is less than 40 minutes’ drive from the park – the town boasts 4 beaches and is one of Northern France’s most popular seaside destinations. The lively Plage de l’Ecluse is the centre of the action – just a stone’s throw from the town centre the beach has watersports, seafront bars, live bands and blue and white Victorian beach huts that have barely changed in centuries. The more isolated Plage de St Enogat, located just outside of Dinard, will also appeal to those who prefer the quiet life.

To the east of St Malo the town of Cancale has built a reputation due to the oyster beds that are along the coast and round the harbour and is best known as the oyster capital of Brittany. Cancale oysters have been famous for at least 2000 years since the days when they were eaten by the soldiers of Julius Caesar and later when they were delivered daily to Louis XIV. Across the bay is Mont Saint Michel – the most visited tourist attraction in France – this remarkable mediaeval walled city, crowned by its great gothic abbey, is built on a small granite outcrop standing all by itself in the flats of the estuary of the river Couesnon. The city, though small, has to this day inhabitants – not many full time inhabitants – and a mayor, and in addition to its religious monuments, has old houses, narrow streets, hotels, restaurants and shops, all catering for the over-a-million tourists who come to visit this magnificent site each year.
