We are delighted to present this park in the province of Malaga in the Costa del Sol, located just 20 minutes from Malaga Airport – and less than 10 minutes’ drive from Fuengirola – with good public transport connections and its famous 7km walkway lined with palm trees, flowers and endless wonderful sandy beaches edging the sparkling blue Mediterranean Sea. We have a choice of plots and plot sizes in this ‘semi rural’ park which is set amongst trees and has both mountain and sea views.
The park is open for 12 months of the year and facilities include a swimming pool, bar / restaurant and a shuttle bus service to local areas and there are countless opportunities for hiking, cycling and horse riding nearby. Supermarkets, shops, and banks are a short distance away and the buzzing cosmopolitan town of Fuengirola offers a wealth of shops, street markets, restaurants, bars, history, entertainment, the harbour, watersports, train and bus stations, the famous Bioparc and Zoo and beautiful sunsets viewed from the walkway beside the beaches.
A short 10 minute drive away from Fuengirola, surrounded by pine forest, is the enchanting white village of Mijas which nestles in the lowlands of the Sierra de Mijas mountain range over 400 meters above sea level. The village still retains its original charm with narrow winding cobbled streets and whitewashed walls and has breath-taking views across the Costa del Sol, Gibraltar, the Atlas Mountains and to the African coastline.
The coastal towns of Torremolinos and Malaga are easily reached by train or bus from Fuengirola and the fabulous city of Granada is less than 2 hours’ drive away by car or bus (toll road). Situated at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Granada boasts the architectural wonder of the Alhambra Palace – a vast Moorish citadel dating back to the 14th century – Spain’s most visited monument – with gardens, fortifications and exquisitely decorated palaces with hidden courtyards. The World Heritage site in Granada also includes the Albaicin district covering the hillside opposite the Alhambra – where you can not only explore the squares and narrow streets of this old Moorish area of the city – but also visit one of the many restaurants and enjoy the very best of classic Andalucian cuisine – for which it is also famous!

4) Do I lose my deposit?
Your deposit will be refunded in full once we have re-sold your reserved mobile home and/or plot, less any expenses that may be incurred by ourselves.

7) What are the plot sizes?
Plot sizes are from approximately 60m² for smaller homes on a single plot and up to approximately 120m² for larger homes on a double plot.
8) How long can I keep my mobile home on site for?
As long as required, condition of mobile home and plot must be well maintained.
9) Can I sell or rent my mobile home if required?

10) What facilities are available on site?
The park has a swimming pool (Open from 2pm low season and 11am – 8pm during high season), sauna, small bar / restaurant, pool table, small library, shuttle bus service by request.
11) What facilities are nearby?
The park is just 1 km from shops, supermarkets, banks, restaurants and bars – the town also has a street market with fresh produce every Tuesday and large flea market each Saturday. Scuba diving, jet skis, parasailing, fishing and dolphin spotting trips are available from the town and there are also many opportunities for hiking, cycling and horse riding nearby.
12) Would I need to hire a car whilst over there
The local town has a train station – with services to Malaga Airport, Torremolinos and Malaga. There is also a bus service to Malaga Airport – with one change in Torremolinos.
The site offer a shuttle service to Fuengirola which starts at 9:30am. Price = 2€ return.
Monday to Friday: 9.30am, 12.15pm and 3.30pm departure time from the park, returning at 12.30pm and 3.45pm.
13) How far are the nearest golf courses and beaches situated?
The nearest beach is just 2km from the park (approximately 10 minutes by car or shuttlebus) and the nearest golf course is also 2 km from the park.
14) How far is the site from the nearest airport?
The park is just a 20 minute drive from Malaga Airport.
15) What is the weather like?
The climate here is warm and temperate with an average daily temperature of 18.3ºC – the driest month of the year is July and the wettest month of the year is November.
July and August are the hottest months of the year with an average daily temperature of just over 25ºC and January is the coolest month of the year when the average daily temperature is 11ºC.
16) Are pets allowed on site?
Up to 2 pets per mobile home are permitted.
17) How long is the site open for and how long can I stay here for?
The park is open for 12 months of the year and mobile home owners may visit as often and stay as long as they wish.
18) Does all work on plots have to be done by site owners?
Owners can maintain their own plots with prior agreement from management. Caravans in the Sun can arrange installation of terraces / decking areas.
Arrange a Viewing
We have 2 options available on this mobile home park. Option 1 – 2 nights accommodation in a hotel with a tour of the park, the viewing of mobile homes (where available), tour of local area and possible collection from airport. Alternatively, option 2 – you can make an appointment to be shown around the park and the homes available during a day visit.
Please note: Brand new mobile homes are not already sited on the mobile home park, these models must be viewed in the UK either prior to, or after your park visit. Please call us if you are interested in viewing a new mobile home, we will locate your requested make/model of home on a showground in the UK, trying to provide a location as close to you as we possibly can. Any resale mobile homes we may have listed on the website are situated on the park and will be available to view with your appointment.
Viewing trip costs will be refunded up to a maximum of £150 if you proceed to purchase a brand new mobile home (excludes pre-owned resale homes). Your accommodation invoice or flight receipt will be required for the credit adjustment and will be shown as a credit on your final invoice. The cost is not redeemable in conjunction with any other special offer, price reduction, discounts or promotions.
Your viewing trip starts when you meet up with our customer service team at Malaga airport or at your hotel in Malaga / Fuengirola where you can check-in and make the arrangements to view the park and the local area the following day. You will now be able to relax for the rest of the day/evening. If required our team can inform you of the local area, the location of amenities, the way to the sea front, restaurants and answer any initial questions you may have.
The next day they will show you around the site and answer any further questions you may have. You may then want to take a walk along the beach, explore surrounding towns and villages, take a drive around the local area or visit some of the local attractions. If you would like to take a drive and explore yourself then our team will always be on hand for advice, directions and any other information you may require.
That night you get to relax in your hotel again before heading back to the airport for your return flight home. You may wish to return to the park the following day for a final look before flying back, this is fine and our team will be available to take you back for a second look.
You contact our office with your planned travel arrangements and day of arrival with an approximate time for when you would like to view the park. We then make the arrangement for you to come and view the park and homes (where applicable). Unfortunately an appointment is necessary to view the park as this is a residential style community and we like to keep disruption to home owners to a minimum.
We do not employ high pressure sales teams and at no time during the visit will you be under any pressure or obligation to purchase. We believe that the product, once seen sells itself and if you are interested, you will contact us to complete the purchase. We will then ensure that you are given our full assistance and guide you through your purchase if required.
Your travel arrangements are booked in conjunction with our UK office subject to availability. This will be coordinated with our customer service team in Spain. We can give friendly advice and help about where and how to book your flights and car hire if required; we will arrange and reserve your accommodation (Usually payable locally on arrival at the hotel). It may be possible for us to collect and return you to Malaga airport.
