Welcome to our latest park, near Pénestin in Southern Brittany, and on the edge of the 2nd largest national park in France, Parc de la Brière – 45 minutes drive north of Nantes and 2 and 1/2 hours from Roscoff or St Malo.
This is a quiet park in romantic surroundings of woods and lakes, including a 1-hectare fishing lake, abounding in flora and fauna. The large spacious plots are from 100 to 200 square metres and there is plenty of choice of position for your home. The park is open all year so you may visit as often as you wish – (but there must be 30 days a year when the home is unoccupied)
Amongst the impressive facilities is a quality French restaurant with menus to rival any local establishment – it is in a converted barn with oak beams and exposed stone walls and it also has an attractive terrace for summer dining. The restaurant offers a daily choice of one menu costing 15€ and one menu costing 25€ and there are plans for the restaurant and bar to open all year. “Foodies” will also be impressed with the fact that there are two Michelin starred restaurants within 15 km – La Mare aux Oiseaux and Le Montaigu at Domaine de Bretesche.
You can swim in the beautiful clear pool with opening sides for the summer heat, or play tennis on the park’s court. A new pool and restaurant complex is planned for 2020. There is also a shop, launderette and play area. English is spoken by park staff in case your French is a bit rusty! The nearest supermarkets, butchers, boulangeries, banks etc are at Pont Chateau, 8 km away, there is also a main line station there. Days out offer endless opportunities for sport and leisure activities – there are 3 x 18 hole golf courses within 30 minutes’ drive, walking and cycling routes, and horse riding ( even on the beach!) There are many seafood and salt producers at nearby Guérande and Pénestin and the area is a paradise for bird watching.
Pénestin beach is only 20 minutes away, popular with families as it has a lifeguard in the summer. There are 70km of either sandy beach or clifftops in the area and you can go water skiing, sailing or diving from local beaches.The famous resort of La Baule – a century old – has beautiful villas, a casino, luxury hotels and an original mix of old Breton and exclusive culture with a 12 km sandy beach – all this only 30 minutes from the park!
The land that the park stands on has been in the same French family for 100 years and the park itself has existed for 40 years – in the grounds is a magnificent Neo Renaissance chateau which is home to the park owners. You can sample chateau life by staying during a viewing visit as guest rooms are available – all are beautifully furnished with period furniture, sumptuous fabrics and oriental carpets and all have a private bathroom. The guest rooms are reached by a wide marble staircase lined with family portraits and some rooms overlook a lake. Breakfast is served in a intimate corner of the charming dining room.

2) What does a viewing trip include?
Viewing of development at your leisure and tour of local area.
3) How much deposit is required?
10% deposit secures your mobile home. For special offers the remaining balance is due 28 days from invoice date.

4) Do I lose my deposit?
Your deposit will be refunded in full once we have re-sold your reserved mobile home and/or plot, less any expenses that may be incurred by ourselves.
5) What is included in the price?

Yes, we can advertise your mobile home for sale on our website, please click here to view our mobile home resale service. Subletting is permitted, using the sites tariffs ONLY with a 20% commission due to the site and only possible during the general site opening times (01/05 to 30/09).
10) What facilities are available on site?
The site has a heated swimming pool, bar and restaurant, play area, shop, laundrette and a tennis court. New for 2020, a pool and restaurant complex.
11) What facilities are nearby?
There is a town, Pont Chateau nearby which is 7 minutes’ drive away from the site. There are banks, supermarkets, butchers, bakers, green grocery, bars and restaurants.
12) Would I need to hire a car whilst over there?
A car would be recommended as park is in a rural setting.
13) How far are the nearest golf courses and beaches situated?
The nearest golf course is situated only 15km from the site, Penestin beach is a short 20-minute journey and La Baule is only 30 minutes from the site.
14) How far is the site from the nearest airport?
The nearest airport is Nantes Atlantique, which is only a 45-minute journey.
15) What is the weather like?
The climate here is generally warm and temperate. The average annual temperature is 11.8°c. The highest temperature averages at 23°c in August and the lowest at 9°c in January. Rainfall averages at 840mm.
16) Are pets allowed on site?
Yes pets are allowed, dogs must be kept on a lead. Maximum is 2 pets per plot.
17) How long is the site open for and how long can I stay here for?
The park is open for 12 months of the year. All residents must have an address in their country of origin and the home must be unoccupied for 30 consecutive days in the year.
18) Does all work on plots have to be done by site owners?
Residents must work on their own plots and gardens only with permission of the park.
Arrange a Viewing
We have 2 options available on this mobile home park. Option 1 – 2 nights accommodation in a hotel with a tour of the park, the viewing of mobile homes (where available) and tour of local area. Alternatively, option 2 – you can make an appointment to be shown around the park and the homes available during a day visit.
Please note: Brand new mobile homes are not already sited on the mobile home park, these models must be viewed in the UK either prior to, or after your park visit. Please call us if you are interested in viewing a new mobile home, we will locate your requested make/model of home on a showground in the UK, trying to provide a location as close to you as we possibly can. Any resale mobile homes we may have listed on the website are situated on the park and will be available to view with your appointment.
Viewing trip costs will be refunded up to a maximum of £150 if you proceed to purchase a brand new mobile home (excludes pre-owned resale homes). Your accommodation invoice or flight receipt will be required for the credit adjustment and will be shown as a credit on your final invoice. The cost is not redeemable in conjunction with any other special offer, price reduction, discounts or promotions.
Your viewing trip starts when you meet up with our customer service team in Pénestin or at your hotel in Pénestin where you can check-in and make the arrangements to view the park and the local area the following day. You will now be able to relax for the rest of the day/evening. If required our team can inform you of the local area, the location of amenities, restaurants and answer any initial questions you may have.
The next day they will show you around the site and answer any further questions you may have. You may then want to explore the surrounding towns and villages, take a drive around the local area or visit some of the local attractions. If you would like to take a drive and explore yourself then our team will always be on hand for advice, directions and any other information you may require.
That night you get to relax in your hotel again, you may wish to return to the park the following day for a final look before returning home, this is fine and our team will be available to take you back for a second look.
You contact our office with your planned travel arrangements and day of arrival with an approximate time for when you would like to view the park. We then make the arrangement for you to come and view the park and homes (where applicable). Unfortunately, an appointment is necessary to view the park as this is a residential style community and we like to keep disruption to homeowners to a minimum. We do not employ high pressure sales teams and at no time during the visit will you be under any pressure or obligation to purchase. We believe that the product, once seen sells itself and if you are interested, you will contact us to complete the purchase. We will then ensure that you are given our full assistance and guide you through your purchase if required.
If required our team can inform you of the local area, the location of amenities, restaurants etc. and answer any initial questions you may have, we can also recommend a local hotel if you wish to stay local to the park for a couple of nights.
Your travel arrangements are booked in conjunction with our UK office subject to availability. This will be coordinated with our customer service team in France. We can give friendly advice and help about where and how to book your ferries / flights and car hire if required; we will arrange and reserve your accommodation.
