Caravans in the Sun would like to introduce you to our new site in Spain, set in a scenic valley in the heart of the Costa del Sol, the views to the countryside and Pizarra Pueblo are spectacular. The family-run campsite is in a peaceful tranquil setting in ‘La Serrana Hills’ of Pizarra in the Heart of the Andalusian Guadalhorce Valley.
In the community of Andalucia, located in the province of Malaga, you will find Pizarra, a wonderful traditional Spanish village where you can use all the facilities needed locally. There are numerous shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants, as well as banks, a medical centre, dentists, pharmacies, internet centre, petrol stations. The town also has a newly built swimming pool with a retracting glass roof for summer and winter use.
There is a local bus/taxi service and with the use of the Pizarra train station, you have a fabulous public service to Malaga and the coast. We do recommend your own transport to and from the site as the nearest bus stop is a 20-minute walk from the mobile home park. Also close by is the historic village of Alora with its steep hills and Moorish Castle, the scenic lakes of Ardales Natural Park and the El Chorro Gorge with newly refurbishes Camino Del Rey a massive tourist attraction for the local area. The walkway was originally used in the final scenes of the classic Sinatra film “Von Ryans Express”.
This small English owned caravan site has a limited amount of plots available for purchasing a mobile home in the Costa Del Sol. 13 mobile park home plots are available. Current facilities do include a reception, swimming pool and newly built Cafe Bar TT, with Wi-Fi.
Additional information about mobile homes in the Costa Del Sol, Spain: Air-conditioning can be fitted by a local Pizarra company if required (Costs approximately €700). Satellite TV and internet with low-cost telephone are available if you require a connection. Electrical supply is 40 amps per plot.

3) How much deposit is required?
10% deposit secures your mobile home. For special offers the remaining balance is due 28 days from invoice date.

4) Do I lose my deposit?
Your deposit will be refunded in full once we have re-sold your reserved mobile home and/or plot, less any expenses that may be incurred by ourselves.
5) What is included in the price?
Furnished mobile home sited and connected on to your own plot.
5a) Are there any additional fees to pay
Compulsory Plot fees = 3,600€ annually. Can be paid monthly – 300€ per month.

7) What are the plot sizes?
Plots are 100m²- 300m²
8) How long can I keep my mobile home on site for?
As long as required, condition of mobile home and plot must be well maintained.
9) Can I sell or rent my mobile home if required?
Yes, we can advertise your mobile home for sale on our website, please click here to view our mobile home resale service. Subletting is permitted but the park does offer a rental service.
10) What facilities are available on site?

12) Would I need to hire a car whilst over there?
Yes, ideally. There is a bus stop 15 minutes’ walk to Pizarra or Alora, alternatively there is a taxi service.

The nearest golf course is 30 minutes from the park.

14) How far is the site from the nearest airport?
Malaga airport is approximately 30 minutes’ drive away, approximately 35km away.
15) What is the weather like?
Costa del Sol weather is extremely mild, with average temperatures of around 19°C / 66°F year-round. Summers average daily temperatures of mid 20’s, June being the coolest month of summer and then the temperatures gradually rise in July and August, remaining hot until the end of September. Autumn is generally the wettest time of the year in with November being the rainiest month for the year. Winter brings average daily temperatures of 12°C – 20 , about 5 days of rain across the month on average. The winters are mild with relatively little precipitation and temperatures do not rise very high during Spring.
16) Are pets allowed on site?

17) How long is the site open for and how long can I stay here for?
The park is open for 12 months of the year so you may visit as often as you wish with long term continual stays of up to 8 months per year.
18) Does all work on plots have to be done by site owners?
Mobile home owners can work on their own plot if maintained to a certain level, plans need to be approved by the park manager who can also help with supplying sheds/storage boxes.
Arrange a viewing
We have 2 options available on this mobile home park. Option 1 – 2 nights accommodation in a hotel with a tour of the park, the viewing of mobile homes (where available), tour of local area and possible collection from airport. Alternatively, option 2 – you can make an appointment to be shown around the park and the homes available during a day visit.
Please note: Brand new mobile homes are not already sited on the mobile home park, these models must be viewed in the UK either prior to, or after your park visit. Please call us if you are interested in viewing a new mobile home, we will locate your requested make/model of home on a showground in the UK, trying to provide a location as close to you as we possibly can. Any resale mobile homes we may have listed on the website are situated on the park and will be available to view with your appointment.
Viewing trip costs will be refunded up to a maximum of £150 if you proceed to purchase a brand new mobile home (excludes pre-owned resale homes). Your accommodation invoice or flight receipt will be required for the credit adjustment and will be shown as a credit on your final invoice. The cost is not redeemable in conjunction with any other special offer, price reduction, discounts or promotions.
Your viewing trip starts when you meet up with our customer service team at Malaga airport or at your hotel in Malaga where you can check-in and make the arrangements to view the park and the local area the following day. You will now be able to relax for the rest of the day/evening. If required our team can inform you of the local area, the location of amenities, the way to the sea front, harbour, restaurants and answer any initial questions you may have.
The next day they will show you around the site and answer any further questions you may have. You may then want to take a walk along the beach, explore surrounding towns and villages, take a drive around the local area or visit some of the local attractions. If you would like to take a drive and explore yourself then our team will always be on hand for advice, directions and any other information you may require.
That night you get to relax in your hotel again before heading back to the airport for your return flight home. You may wish to return to the park the following day for a final look before flying back, this is fine and our team will be available to take you back for a second look.
You contact our office with your planned travel arrangements and day of arrival with an approximate time for when you would like to view the park. We then make the arrangement for you to come and view the park and homes (where applicable). Unfortunately an appointment is necessary to view the park as this is a residential style community and we like to keep disruption to home owners to a minimum.
We do not employ high pressure sales teams and at no time during the visit will you be under any pressure or obligation to purchase. We believe that the product, once seen sells itself and if you are interested, you will contact us to complete the purchase. We will then ensure that you are given our full assistance and guide you through your purchase if required.
Your travel arrangements are booked in conjunction with our UK office subject to availability. This will be coordinated with our customer service team in Spain. We can give friendly advice and help about where and how to book your flights and car hire if required; we will arrange and reserve your accommodation (Usually payable locally on arrival at the hotel). It may be possible for us to collect and return you to Malaga airport.
