The park is within walking distance of the local town and is set amid beautiful scenery with stunning mountain views and surrounded by avocado and olive trees. Malaga Airport is just a 45 minutes’ drive and the lovely beaches around Torre del Mar are just 12km from the park.
This well maintained park has wonderful mountain views and the advantages of a swimming pool with deckchair area, a shop, a laundrette and a playground. The area has some delightful walks and eagles, wild boar and black squirrels can be seen in the surrounding countryside. There are opportunities for horse riding and fishing nearby and a wealth of water sports are available at the coast – just 15 minutes’ drive away. The local town with its white houses and winding streets is within walking distance of the park and the town has supermarkets, shops, bank, post office, swimming pool, pharmacy, bars and restaurants and a weekly Sunday market. The town is in the centre of the Muscat grape producing area and every year a Festival of the Grape is held in August with a chance to try local dishes including gazpacho, chickpea stew, pies and honey pancakes – accompanied of course with wine, music and dancing! Energetic visitors will enjoy the view from the highest point of the town – exceptional views of the Sierras de Tejeda and the Mediterranean Sea – and – on a clear day – the Atlas Mountains and even the Moroccan coast.
There are two 18 hole golf courses within a short drive, Velez-Malaga with its wealth of history, restaurants and shops is just over 20 minutes’ drive and the coast is easily reached by road. The 25 kilometres of coastline surrounding Velez-Malaga means that there is rarely a coastal town without an urban beach – and if you have a car – then the real gems can be discovered just outside the towns.

The park has a swimming pool, a small shop, a laundrette, reception and lounge. Internet is available and there is a free Wi-Fi zone.
11) What facilities are nearby?
There are opportunities for fishing, walking, hiking, cycling and horse riding in the area and the local village which is surrounded by vineyards and tropical fruit trees has the advantage of good shops, supermarkets, hardware and a pharmacy and a weekly market. There are also banks and a number of bars and restaurants.
12) Would I need to hire a car whilst over there?
We would recommend a car to enjoy your time in the area. Public transport from Malaga airport to the nearest town would take around 2 and a half hours (plus time from the Airport to Malaga bus station).
13) How far are the nearest golf courses and beaches situated?
The nearest beach is just 12km from the park and the nearest golf course is just 20 minutes’ drive from the park.
14) How far is the site from the nearest airport?
The nearest airport is Malaga Airport – approximately 45 minutes’ drive from the Park.
15) What is the weather like?
The climate here is mild, and generally warm and temperate. The average annual temperature is 17.3 °C. August is the hottest month of the year with an average temperature of 25.2 °C. and January is the coldest month, with temperatures averaging 10.7 °C.
July is the month with the least rainfall and November is the wettest month of the year.
16) Are pets allowed on site?
Yes – pets are allowed on the park.
17) How long is the site open for and how long can I stay here for?
The park is open for 12 months of the year and owners may stay for as long as they wish
18) Does all work on plots have to be done by site owners?
Residents can work on their own plots and gardens – please check your plans with the park owner. A small shed or storage unit can be installed on your plot – but please check with the park owner.
Arrange a viewing
We have 2 options available on this mobile home park. Option 1 – 2 nights accommodation in a hotel with a tour of the park, the viewing of mobile homes (where available), tour of local area and possible collection from airport. Alternatively, option 2 – you can make an appointment to be shown around the park and the homes available during a day visit.
Please note: Brand new mobile homes are not already sited on the mobile home park, these models must be viewed in the UK either prior to, or after your park visit. Please call us if you are interested in viewing a new mobile home, we will locate your requested make/model of home on a showground in the UK, trying to provide a location as close to you as we possibly can. Any resale mobile homes we may have listed on the website are situated on the park and will be available to view with your appointment.
Viewing trip costs will be refunded up to a maximum of £150 if you proceed to purchase a brand new mobile home (excludes pre-owned resale homes). Your accommodation invoice or flight receipt will be required for the credit adjustment and will be shown as a credit on your final invoice. The cost is not redeemable in conjunction with any other special offer, price reduction, discounts or promotions.
Your viewing trip starts when you meet up with our customer service team at Malaga airport or at your hotel in Malaga where you can check-in and make the arrangements to view the park and the local area the following day. You will now be able to relax for the rest of the day/evening. If required our team can inform you of the local area, the location of amenities, the way to the sea front, harbour, restaurants and answer any initial questions you may have.
The next day they will show you around the site and answer any further questions you may have. You may then want to take a walk along the beach / around the lake, explore surrounding towns and villages, take a drive around the local area or visit some of the local attractions. If you would like to take a drive and explore yourself then our team will always be on hand for advice, directions and any other information you may require.
That night you get to relax in your hotel again before heading back to the airport for your return flight home. You may wish to return to the park the following day for a final look before flying back, this is fine and our team will be available to take you back for a second look.
You contact our office with your planned travel arrangements and day of arrival with an approximate time for when you would like to view the park. We then make the arrangement for you to come and view the park and homes (where applicable). Unfortunately an appointment is necessary to view the park as this is a residential style community and we like to keep disruption to home owners to a minimum.
We do not employ high pressure sales teams and at no time during the visit will you be under any pressure or obligation to purchase. We believe that the product, once seen sells itself and if you are interested, you will contact us to complete the purchase. We will then ensure that you are given our full assistance and guide you through your purchase if required.
Your travel arrangements are booked in conjunction with our UK office subject to availability. This will be coordinated with our customer service team in Spain. We can give friendly advice and help about where and how to book your flights and car hire if required; we will arrange and reserve your accommodation (Usually payable locally on arrival at the hotel). It may be possible for us to collect and return you to Malaga airport.
