Lorenzo Pertici
Lorenzo was born in 1972 in Milano, in the cold and foggy plains of Northern Italy but he was soon forced to move out to Tuscany, the place of origin of his family, leaving the wonderful fog, the icy winters and the polluted air of his beloved Lombardy, for the perfect weather, sunny hills and quiet life of Tuscany. The initially reluctant move was partly compensated by his love for the one and only Milano’s football team FC Internazionale Milan that remained always since then in his heart.
After his studies, Lorenzo worked for several years as commercial employee in one the biggest Italian tanneries manufacturing leather jackets, shoes and leatherware in general for many large fashion brands and participating to all major world fairs and exhibition of the sector.
Lorenzo’s dream however was travelling and working in the tourist industry, so in 2006 he opened his own tour operator, specialised in tailored packages such as African Safaris
His love for travels and Africa led him to marry them, in the shape of his wife Purity, with a simple ceremony on the nice beach of Mombasa in Kenya.
His loving four children always tell him that is growing old and, because of his love for the history, their doubt is that he was already going around during Napoleonic Wars … but it’s just a joke … of course.
In 2022, unfortunately, two years of complete stop in his job because of COVID, Lorenzo was forced to close the tour operator and, since then, he was employed as commercial employee near Milan and in a company dealing with car rentals.
Finally, Lorenzo heard that Toscana Holiday Village was looking for someone to be employed and he immediately realised that this was the job he was looking for.
Lorenzo is now entering in the world of Caravans in the Sun, willing to grow together with this wonderful team and with a project in mind : to combine his love for tourism, for history, for travels, with the galaxy of Caravans in the Sun, offering to all our friends and guests also an useful service for arranging their trips and their journeys during their holidays and stays, providing them with comprehensive information about visiting the various countries.
