Well, yes. Long, sunny days and crisp blue skies are a way of life. Here in the South of Tenerife, rain is so infrequent as to be a welcome relief from sun, sun, sun. The hot dry climate has a beneficial effect for many of the expat residents who report a marked improvement in joint ailments like arthritis and rheumatism.
A Practical Paradise
There are a few standard reasons why those who dream of making a life abroad hesitate. One is that they are reluctant to be too far away from family and friends in the UK. At a mere four hours flight time, Tenerife is as near as you can get to a paradise on the doorstep. Flights are so numerous that there are – except for the busiest seasons – always deals to be had.
Another benefit to choosing to make your new life in Tenerife is that it is exotic without being a too much of a culture shock. While many expats choose to learn Spanish fluently, eat mostly Spanish food, shop in Spanish markets and so on, many do not. Your immersion in the local culture is very much up to your comfort level.

There are so many choices in Tenerife. With almost every national cuisine catered for and an endless array of restaurants and bars, your biggest dining challenge will be choosing where to go. Evening entertainment runs the gamut from full-blown cabaret to comedy routines and quiz nights. Daytime activities include cultural tours, water excursions; hiking, diving, windsurfing, horse-riding… the list is endless.

After a five-minute car ride to Las Galletas from the mobile home park, you may decide upon a stroll along the promenade or investigate the fresh seafood stalls near the waterfront. Just 15 minutes will get you to Los Cristianos or Las Americas where there is a very wide range of things to do from shopping to dining and evening entertainment.
Many of those who made the decision to live in Tenerife either full-time or through the cold UK winter months did so after visiting the island on holiday. The beautiful weather, relaxed lifestyle and easy-going nature of the local residents make living in Tenerife a very attractive prospect indeed and a mobile home is a great, cheaper alternative to an apartment.

Q) What does a viewing trip include?
Viewing of development at your leisure and tour of local area. Live video tours of this park are not currently available.
In the case of a pre-owned sited home, 10% initial holding deposit will secure the home for a maximum 14-day holding period, the balance due within 28 days.

Q) I wish to remain a UK citizen, but visit and enjoy my holiday home throughout the year.

Q) Do I lose my deposit?
A 10% holding deposit can be placed on any home, the deposit will be fully refundable if the home is viewed and a decision made within a 14 day period (or longer if agreed in advance) and no unreasonable costs have been accrued by the company.
In the case of a plot reservation and new home order, you may cancel at any time before the pre agreed period lapses (60% payment). The £1,000 plot deposit is not refundable.

Q) Are there any additional fees to pay
Compulsory running costs (Inclusive of all services including electricity and water) = 285€ per month when vacant. 405€ per month for 1 person occupying. 450€ per month for 2 people occupying.

Electricity and water is included within the price so to cover the extra usage for an additional person there is an extra charge which works pro rata to the regular service fee. As an example it is approximately 45€ extra, per person, per month for each additional person over 2 people. This roughly equates to 1.50€ per day.

As long as required, condition of mobile home and plot must be well maintained.
Q) Can I sell or rent my mobile home if required?
Yes, we can advertise your mobile home for sale on our website, please click here to view our mobile home resale service. Subletting is permitted, we can offer a rental service in conjunction with the site, offering a cleaning and key holding service for approximately and trying to find rental clients.
Q) What facilities are available on site?
Swimming pool, Sports courts, Laundry, Convenience store, Restaurant/Cafe/Bar, Reception (WiFi available 2€/hour) – All facilities are open for 12 months of the year.
Q) What facilities are nearby?
There are shops, banks, bars, restaurants, sandy beaches and golf courses. Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas are accessible within 15-20 minutes’ drive. In Las Galletas there is a morning fishing market selling freshly caught Tuna and locally caught fish.
Q) Would I need to hire a car whilst over there?
Not necessarily, a car would be useful and is recommended but you can get a taxi from the airport to the park if required and Las Galletas is approximately 3 miles away if you don’t mind a 30 minutes’ walk.
There is a bus service in Tenerife that can be used by the park residents. The bus stop is at the top of the entrance road to the park and is on the opposite side of the road, heading towards Guaza. This is a circular bus that runs 8 times a day. The bus passes the site around the half hour mark and goes to Palm Mar, Las Galletas, Guaza, Guargacho and el Fraile. So customers can get to the shops, beach, port etc in Las Galletas. You can catch other buses in Las Galletas or Guaza to the holiday resorts listed below.
Circular bus 468. Guaza, El Fraile, Las Galletas, Guargacho, Palm Mar. Leaves Guaza at 6:20, 7:10, 8:10 and 9:10. Then another four runs at 13:20, 14:10, 15:10 and 16:10.
There is a bus from Las Galletas to Cristianos every 20 mins. 467. And 473 from Galletas to Gigantes every 30 mins

Q) How far is the site from the nearest airport?
Tenerife Sur airport is approximately 15 minutes’ drive away, approximately 15km away.
Q) What is the weather like?
The weather averages approximately 20° C throughout the year. Peaks about July offering a comfortable 20 – 25° C.
Q) Are pets allowed on site?
Yes pets are allowed.
Q) How long is the site open for and how long can I stay here for?
The park is open for 12 months of the year so you may visit as often as you wish as stay for as long as you wish.
Q) Does all work on plots have to be done by site owners?
Mobile home owners can work on their own plots and supply their own terraces although they must comply with the rules of the campsite, we can assist you in doing this if required.
Arrange a Viewing
We have 2 options available on this mobile home park. Option 1 – 2 nights accommodation in a hotel with a tour of the park, the viewing of mobile homes (where available), tour of local area and possible collection from airport. Alternatively, option 2 – If you’re already planning a holiday in Tenerife you can make an appointment to be shown around the park and the homes available during a day visit.
Please note: Brand new mobile homes are not already sited on the mobile home park, these models must be viewed in the UK or mainland Spain either prior to, or after your park visit. Please call us if you are interested in viewing a new mobile home, we will locate your requested make/model of home on a showground in the UK or mainland Spain (Depending on make and model chosen), trying to provide a location as close to you as we possibly can. Any resale mobile homes we may have listed on the website are usually situated on the park and will be available to view with your appointment.
Viewing trip costs will be refunded up to a maximum of £150 if you proceed to purchase a brand new mobile home (excludes pre-owned resale homes). Your accommodation invoice or flight receipt will be required for the credit adjustment and will be shown as a credit on your final invoice. The cost is not redeemable in conjunction with any other special offer, price reduction, discounts or promotions.
Your viewing trip starts when you meet up with our customer service team at Tenerife Sur airport or at your hotel where you can check-in and make the arrangements to view the park and the local area the following day. You will now be able to relax for the rest of the day/evening. If required our team can inform you of the local area, the location of amenities, the way to the sea front, harbour, restaurants and answer any initial questions you may have.
The next day they will show you around the site and answer any further questions you may have. You may then want to take a walk along the beach, explore surrounding towns and villages, take a drive around the local area or visit some of the local attractions. If you would like to take a drive and explore yourself then our team will always be on hand for advice, directions and any other information you may require.
That night you get to relax in your hotel again before heading back to the airport for your return flight home. You may wish to return to the park the following day for a final look before flying back, this is fine and our team will be available to take you back for a second look.
You contact our office with your planned travel arrangements and day of arrival with an approximate time for when you would like to view the park. We then make the arrangement for you to come and view the park and homes (where applicable). Unfortunately an appointment is necessary to view the park as this is a residential style community and we like to keep disruption to home owners to a minimum.
We do not employ high pressure sales teams and at no time during the visit will you be under any pressure or obligation to purchase. We believe that the product, once seen sells itself and if you are interested, you will contact us to complete the purchase. We will then ensure that you are given our full assistance and guide you through your purchase if required.
Your travel arrangements are booked in conjunction with our UK office subject to availability. This will be coordinated with our customer service team in Spain. We can give friendly advice and help about where and how to book your flights and car hire if required; we will arrange and reserve your accommodation (Usually payable locally on arrival at the hotel). It may be possible for us to collect and return you to Tenerife Sur airport.
