This mobile home/camping park is located approximately 40 km from Valencia and 20 km South of Castellon. Situated on Spain’s North-East coast, the caravan site provides a perfect base for exploring the rich culture of the Costa del Azahar, or just relaxing on the beach which is only a short walk away. The site is ideally situated to take advantage of the mild winter weather of the region, located near a quiet seaside town and within easy reach are several medieval towns, perfect for a day trip, as well as the regional capital of Valencia.
The site is located in a small, relaxed, traditional Spanish village with a variety of small shops, bars and restaurants, where you’re always welcomed. The village is a very nice place to walk around; open markets and fiestas are a regular event in the town and in the main square. A nice stroll through the narrow streets finds all kinds of small shops and fantastic tapas bars; a walk through the village at night is a picturesque experience. The beach is a steady 2 minute stroll from the campsite down a lovely flower lined avenue leading straight to the sea.
The promenade goes for miles in both directions lined with palm trees on either side; you will find a selection of small bars and restaurants offering fantastic food and drinks. The sandy beach can also have patches of pebbles; there are no lines of sunbeds as this part of Spain is kept traditional and not commercial. The beach is vast and never overcrowded with plenty of room to find your own private section. The sea is great for swimming being shallow in most places and you will find many jetties if you fancy fishing. You will find a fantastic fish bar/restaurant on the beach where you can enjoy the fresh catch of the day.
The park staff organise various day trips, including tours of Nules and the walled town of Mascarell. The towns and villages around the park organise entertainment and sightseeing trips to nearby places of interest. Within 10-15 minutes’ walk are two large supermarkets for your weekly shop and the town is surrounded by beautiful Orange groves with numerous quiet roads and cycle paths which are flat, ideal for cycling.
The park is open for 12 months of the year and has excellent facilities including a swimming pool, small shop, restaurant, bar, washing/laundry room, showers, toilets, security, reception. first aid office, children’s playground, football pitch, volleyball and petanque. The gravel pitches available are an average size of 70 square metres; bigger plots are available if required for a larger mobile home. The site is very well maintained, the tarmac roads and scattered trees keep the park neat and tidy with low maintenance plots.
Caravans in the Sun have a great range of new and resale mobile homes available suitable for this park. We can supply any make and model of mobile home including Delta, Willerby, Pemberton, Victory, ABI, Swift, BK, Regal, Tingdene and IRM to name a few, if your choice is not listed please contact us for an accurate sited price.

Testimonials
“Having been here for 8 years I have found a great place to enjoy, relax and eat out with the locals, who make you most welcome. I find it yet to be found by most tourists and hope it stays that way; we are unspoiled by the noisy holiday crowd like Benidorm etc.
Set in a residential area of the playa is by far one of the best campsites in Spain, having one of the lowest rents in Spain. Being small and compact it offers the peace and quiet for a good holiday, either a short or long stay, I came for a short holiday and am still here 8 years later.
This family-owned camp is a mixture of Spanish, English, Dutch and German. The owners tender to your every need, nothing is too much trouble for them. The camp itself is kept clean and tidy, the 4 roads are lined with trees and the plots are all clean. If you just want privacy then you have it, if you want to mix then the bar offers a friendly welcome.
To sum up I feel this park is a little gem in the Mediterranean left untouched and unfound by many. If you are lucky enough to find it then a small piece of heaven could be yours but don’t tell too many people as we want to keep it as it is…. quiet, unspoiled, a relaxing place, a place you can call your own.”

“I’ve been to this site a fair few times, in fact came home from there yesterday. Its a beautiful little site with friendly residents and staff. Has a decent swimming pool, bar, little exercise area and petanque aswell. Monfoca is a gem of a place. Very short walk to seafront. Then to the west a gorgeous Mountain range. Very Flat area. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Isn’t overcrowded with drunk tourists. The campsite is usually full over holidays with touring and Spanish on holidays. There are kids in site but in general very well behaved. Many carparks are free or very cheap. Beer is cheaper, and fuel.”
