Our mobile homes for sale are to be sited on the Algarve’s less commercial Eastern side, with its secluded untouched villages and some of the best-kept beaches and coastline in Europe, classed as the sunny ‘California Coast’. This lovely family run mobile home park in the Algarve is exclusive to Mobile Homes Abroad / Caravans in the Sun. We are situated in a fantastic location; the site is only 1km from a golf course and only 1.5km from the coast, only a 15-minute walk to the beach.
The location of this park is second to none, you can walk into the local village which has a great selection of restaurants and bars overlooking the waterfront, here you can also take the water taxi to travel over the estuary to the sand dunes and beach opposite. Within walking distance, you will also find your local supermarket. If you fancy exploring a little bit further afield then you can use the local public transport, both bus and train links are good.
The facilities we have on site include a superb swimming pool, a well-stocked supermarket, cash machine, bar and snack bar with terrace. Our mobile home site in the Algarve is open for 12 months of the year allowing you to visit as often as you wish and for as long as you wish, you may live on the mobile home site.
Why not ‘Try before you buy’. Holiday chalets are available for our customers to come and stay on the mobile home site for a couple of nights to sample the park atmosphere and to explore the local area. 2) What does a viewing trip include?
Viewing of development at your leisure. ‘Try before you buy’ stays are available using 1 of the onsite cabins for 2 nights. (Subject to availability). Alternatively we have a local guest house which can be used (Costs apply – £49 per night for 2 people). Viewing trip costs will be refunded up to a maximum of £150 if you proceed to purchase. Your hotel / accommodation invoice or flight receipt will be required for the credit adjustment and will be shown as a credit on your final invoice. The cost is not redeemable in conjunction with any other special offer, price reduction, discounts or promotions. We do not employ high pressure sales teams and at no time during the visit will you be under any pressure or obligation to purchase.
3) How much deposit is required?
10% deposit secures your mobile home. For special offers the remaining balance is due 28 days from invoice date.

4) Do I lose my deposit?
Your deposit will be refunded in full once we have re-sold your reserved mobile home and/or plot, less any expenses that may be incurred by ourselves.
5) What is included in the price?
Furnished mobile home sited, connected and ready to use on your own plot.
5a) Are there any additional fees to pay
Compulsory Monthly plot fee which is currently from 300€. Electricity and water is billed on consumption and gas is bottled.
6) What are the running costs?
The monthly plot fee is currently from 300€ per month, a choice of plots (115m²).
Electricity and water are both on a meter. Gas = Bottled. As an example a couple living on site for 12 months recently paid 325€ for a 1 year usage. 95€ for gas, 120€ for electric and 110€ for water, the site only charges the rate they pay so you have no additional charges.
7) What are the plot sizes?
83m² – 194m², currently we only have 115m² plots available.
8) How long can I keep my mobile home on site for?
As long as required, condition of mobile home and plot must be well maintained.
9) Can I sell or rent my mobile home if required?
Yes, we can advertise your mobile home for sale on our website, please click here to view our mobile home resale service. Subletting is not permitted but family members are allowed to use your home and stay on site, friends are also permitted but a 3€ nightly charge may apply.
10) What facilities are available on site?
Swimming pool, bar/restaurant, upstairs function room, small supermarket, laundry room with washing and drying facilities, shower and toilet blocks, small library/book exchange, BBQ’s, children’s play area, fish pond and boules pitch.
11) What facilities are nearby?
Locally you will find all the facilities you would need. There are numerous cafes and restaurants with views across the calm, crystal clear waters of the lagoon to the beach, banks, a market and several small shops for your grocery items. A “papelaria” on the front, opposite the water taxis to the beach, has bikes for hire and is an agency for excursions as well as car rental (If required).
12) Would I need to hire a car whilst over there?
Not necessarily, there is a train station within walking distance of the park which travels to Faro; the train station in Faro is a 5 minute taxi journey from the airport. There is an A 2 B shuttle bus service available from Faro airport which costs 10€ per person each way and a taxi is approximately 35€. The site is on a bus route and you can walk to the coast, the town centre, shops and restaurants within 10-15 minutes.
13) How far are the nearest golf courses and beaches situated?
The 18 hole course in Tavira is approximately a 5 minute drive away, you can enjoy some of the best mountain and sea views the Algarve has to offer at the Benamor golf course. The site is coastal and you can walk to the beach within 10-15 minutes, in a car you can reach the coast within minutes and then take the water taxi over the lagoon to the island beach.
14) How far is the site from the nearest airport?
Faro airport is approximately 30 minutes’ drive away; the train takes approximately 45-55 minutes from Faro to the local train station.
15) What is the weather like?
The Algarve is home to many of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations due to its year round sun and warmth. The Eastern Algarve enjoys a Mediterranean climate of long hot summers and mild winters; we are based on the less commercial East coast of South Portugal. Spring is very warm and enjoyable with average highs of 20°C in April, Summer is hot and dry with average highs of 29°C, Autumn remains very pleasant with average highs of 23°C in October and Winter is very mild averaging highs of 16°C in December / January.
16) Are pets allowed on site?

17) How long is the site open for and how long can I stay here for?
The park is open for 12 months of the year so you may visit and stay here for as long as you wish.
18) Does all work on plots have to be done by site owners?
Mobile home owners are encouraged to plant their own gardens; plots come as concrete / gravel surfaces with home owners then allowed to add their personal touch with planted gardens and perimeter fencing etc. Sheds and terraces are allowed and are generally purchased directly by the home owner although we can assist you in doing this if required.
Arrange a viewing
We have 2 options available on this mobile home park. Option 1 – we can recommend accommodation in a cabin on site so you can get the full feel for the park and local area, we feel that this is the best way to experience the mobile home park and lifestyle. Alternatively, option 2 – you can make an appointment to be shown around the park and the homes available during a day visit.
Please note: Brand new mobile homes are not already sited on the mobile home park, these models must be viewed in the UK either prior to, or after your park visit. Please call us if you are interested in viewing a new mobile home, we will locate your requested make/model of home on a showground in the UK, trying to provide a location as close to you as we possibly can. Any resale mobile homes we may have listed on the website are situated on the park and will be available to view with your appointment.
Viewing trip costs will be refunded up to a maximum of £150 if you proceed to purchase a brand new mobile home (excludes pre-owned resale homes). Your accommodation invoice or flight receipt will be required for the credit adjustment and will be shown as a credit on your final invoice. The cost is not redeemable in conjunction with any other special offer, price reduction, discounts or promotions.
When you arrive at the park you will be greeted by the site management at the park reception and then taken to your accommodation where you will now be able to relax for the rest of the day/evening. The next day we can show you around the park if required and the homes available along with answering any further questions you may have. You will then be able to visit the local town and tour the area at your leisure before returning to the park for your second nights’ accommodation. If required our team can inform you of the local area, the location of amenities and answer any initial questions you may have. If the cabins are unavailable we have alternative accommodation at a local guest house.
You contact our office with your planned travel arrangements and day of arrival with an approximate time for when you would like to view the park. We then make the arrangement for you to come and view the park and homes (where applicable). Unfortunately an appointment is necessary to view the park as this is a residential style community and we like to keep disruption to home owners to a minimum. We do not employ high pressure sales teams and at no time during the visit will you be under any pressure or obligation to purchase. We believe that the product, once seen sells itself and if you are interested, you will contact us to complete the purchase. We will then ensure that you are given our full assistance and guide you through your purchase if required.
Your travel arrangements are booked in conjunction with our UK office subject to availability. This will be coordinated with our customer service team in Portugal. We can give friendly advice and help about where and how to book your ferries / flights and car hire if required; we will arrange and reserve your accommodation (£49 per night for 2 people).
